LCAP (Local Control and Accountability Plan)
PLEASE NOTE: On April 23, 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom signed the LCAP Executive Order, stating,
"Local educational agencies, including school districts, will publish a written report to their communities that explains how they have responded to COVID-19, including steps they have taken to deliver distance learning and meet the needs of disadvantaged students
Order extends the deadlines for completing annual planning processes to enable local educational agencies to prioritize more exigent needs."
Rialto Unified School District submitted a report to our local Board of Education in June 2020 to address the District response during the 2019-20 school year to the COVID-19 pandemic. Here is that document in English and in Spanish.

California schools are now funded under a new model known as the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). Under this new model, districts are required to develop a Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP). The LCAP guides priorities for budget development in eight areas. This process provides opportunities for community input. Please see the overview sheet (.PDF) in the links below.
