    CAASPP Testing this week
    Hello Families!
    This week is the first week of CAASPP testing. See the attached flyer with more details but here are a couple of important pieces of information for a successful testing week. 
    • The dates are Wednesday, April 24th, Thursday, April 25th, Wednesday, May 1st, and Thursday, May 2nd. 
    • These testing days are minimum days from 8:00 to 12:35. 
    • All students will receive breakfast and lunch on testing days. 
    • Students will report to 1st period and if they have PE 1st period then they will report to their science teacher. All students will receive official notices of the testing location on Tuesday. 
    • ALL students need to bring their Chromebook and chargers on Tuesday before testing. All Chromebooks will be secured in the classroom for charge overnight. 
    • On testing days, students will need to leave their backpacks at home. 
    • There will be no Tutoring Hub after school on testing days. 
    • Positive attendance and excellent behavior during testing will be rewarded with Coyote Cash.

    Attendance Incentives for this Week 4/22/24 to 4/26/24
     
    Hello families!

    Last week we had a phenomenal increase in attendance. We reached 92.5% for the week, which increased by more than 2% from last week. Attendance is so important and ensures student success, and we appreciate all of your support. 

    Attendance class winners from last week! Reward is a 1st period sports party in the quad.
    Period 3 6th Grade 
    Ms. Toor 99% attendance

    Period 2 7th Grade 
    Ms. Sullinger 97% attendance

    Period 6 8th Grade 
    Ms. Hiett 98% attendance

    This week's goal is 95% for the entire school on both CAASPP testing days. The reward is going to be a favorite pizza at lunch for all students.

    Coffee with the Principal at 9:00 AM. Please join us for updates and information as well as coffee and pastries.
     
    Step-Up!
     
    Hello Kucera Parents! 

    We will have our step-up this Saturday and the following!, 4/20, 4/27

    Parents, please take advantage of this from 8 to 12.
    This is the perfect time if students need to clear attendance, receive a Saturday school from the administration,
    Or recover from absences for the 8th-grade field trip.
