Joseph W. Martinez

Mr. Joseph W. Martinez was successfully elected to the Rialto Unified School District Board of Education seat in 2008. He has been reelected three consecutive times, and is currently serving his four year team which expires in 2024. Mr. Martinez, a retired classified employee, who was also a former classified union president, is active with the Kiwanis Club of Rialto. Because of his passion for technology and stem education, he is affectionately known as “Mr. Stem.” He has served in the capacity of President, Vice President, and Clerk for the Board of Education. Mr. Martinez resides with his wife in the City of Rialto.

Edgar Montes

Mr. Edgar Montes was successfully elected to the Rialto Unified School District Board of Education seat in 2010. He has been reelected three consecutive times, and is currently serving his four year team which expires in 2026. He has served in the capacity of President, Vice President, and Clerk for the Board of Education. Mr. Montes, and his wife, have three children enrolled in the RUSD.

Evelyn P. Dominguez, LVN

Mrs. Evelyn P. Dominguez was elected to the RUSD Board of Education in 2022 and made history by becoming the first-ever Latina to have a seat on the Board of Education. She brings experience as a parent leader from RUSD’s Boyd Elementary School and a wealth of compassion from her career as a nurse with her as she takes a seat on the Board of Education. Dominguez was born in Guatemala and came to California at 5 years old. She has lived in the Inland Empire for almost thirty years and graduated from Kaiser High School in Fontana in 2003. Dominguez earned her License Vocation Nurse certification from Chaffey College in 2014. She calls the City of Rialto home alongside her husband and three children.

Nancy G. O'Kelley

Mrs. Nancy G. O’Kelley was first elected to the RUSD Board of Education in 2012.  A former teacher-turned-administrator in the RUSD for more than three decades, Mrs. O’Kelley has successfully won three terms in public office as a Board trustee. She has held the position of President, Vice President, and Clerk of the Board of Education.  Mrs. O’Kelley is married, a mother of three grown children and grandmother of five. She moved to the City of Rialto in 1990.

Dr. Stephanie E. Lewis

Dr. Stephanie E. Lewis elected to the RUSD Board of Education in 2020. Mrs. Lewis is a parent and long-term resident of the City of Rialto. She is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Mental Health Specialist, and Retired Transportation Commissioner for the City of Rialto. Mrs. Lewis also serves as the High-Risk Infant Follow-up Program Coordinator at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, Nurse Consultant for Southern California Easterseals, Child Development Services, and Assistant Professor at the College of Graduate Nursing, Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona, CA. Additionally, she is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Phoenix, Graduate School of Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner Program.

Ivan Manzo

Student Member

Ivan Manzo is an Eisenhower High School senior who serves as the 2024-2025 Student Member for the Rialto Unified School District. Ivan previously attended Curtis Elementary School and Rialto Middle School. He is an active and dedicated student leader. He is passionate about representing student voices across the District. Ivan enjoys playing music and is the Orchestra Section Leader at Eisenhower High School. He counts Advanced Placement (AP) Calculus as his favorite class.
