Mr. Bender

Mr. Michael Bender graduated from California State University, San Bernardino with a Bachelor in Science Degree, emphasis in Physical Education. He continued his education and received a Master’s Degree in Education/Physical Education from Azusa Pacific University. He has been teaching for 29 years and has coached several sports, which include volleyball, football, baseball, softball, wrestling, and track. The advice he wants to give to his students is “to finish what you start.” A fun fact about Mr. Bender is that Bud Bender Park is named after his father.

Ms. Cooper

Ms. Kaitlyn Cooper graduated from California State University San Bernardino with a Bachelor in Science in Kinesiology, emphasis in Pedagogy. Her goal is to educate students on sports and physical activities that they can take far beyond their Physical Education class. She would like her students to remember these wise words: "It is always too early to quit."

Mr. M. Douglass

Mr. Michael Douglass graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor in Science Degree, emphasis in Physical Education. He continued his education and received a Master’s Degree in Education/Physical Education from Azusa Pacific University. He has been teaching for 31 years and would like the students to remember that “It’s Always Too Early to Quit (Peale).” He also has coached several sports, which include volleyball, football, basketball, and track. A fun fact about Mr. Douglass is that he has been teaching with his twin Brother for 31 years.

Ms. Manack

Ms. Paula Manack graduated from California State University, San Bernardino with a Bachelor in Science Degree, emphasis in Physical Education. She continued her education and received a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Azusa Pacific University. She has been teaching for 28 years, and would like to help the students to understand that “if they put in the time and hard work now, they will get to work less hours for more money later.” Ms. Manack has coached basketball for 10 years at all different types of schools. Her goal is to introduce students to a variety of activities and sports in hopes that the students will find some type of enjoyment and will want to continue physical activity for life.
