Sneak Peak into Z Space

  • Students rotate through stations following a schedule. One of the stations includes zSpace. zSpace can be used as a tool to deliver teacher-led instruction, for students to learn and practice, and as a part of online instruction.

  • Students rotate through stations following a schedule. One of the stations includes online learning or zSpace learning in a computer lab. zSpace can be used as a tool to deliver teacher-led instruction or instruction in the lab.

  • Based on a learning path determined by the teacher or instructional software, students rotate to stations based on identified needs. zSpace can be incorporated into stations for direct instruction, online learning, or independent and collaborative learning.

  • The Werner Exploration Creator Room was designed for stars to explore with their imagination, problem based focus and hands on learning often referred to as Project Based Learning. Project Based Learning is a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging, and complex question, problem, or challenge. Werner’s Exploration room is different from a regular PBL classroom because it also has a virtual reality lab. Students are able to construct their own models using tools, computer software and a 3-D printer.

    Every zSpace system has tracking built into the display. These sensors track your zSpace stylus and glasses. As you tilt your head to look around an object, zSpace dynamically updates to display the correct perspective in full, high-definition.

    Tracked Glasses provide a complete experience, while Follower Glasses allow peers to join in and participate.

    The zSpace stylus is held like a pen. With 6 degrees of freedom, students can rotate their wrist naturally as they pick up and examine objects. The buttons on the stylus perform different actions depending on the application that is open.
