Kucera Middle School
The Kucera Middle School Learning Community enthusiastically welcomes you and your family back to campus after a year of distance learning. To ensure a safe return back to campus, all members of the KMS learning community, including staff members, students, parents, guardians, and community partners, must personally commit to supporting the safety parameters established by the District and site. As such, our daily campus procedures may look different and require additional steps. Nevertheless, our commitment to a safe return remains unwavering.
I would like to welcome you to the 2021-22 school year and look forward to working with both our new and returning Coyotes. Our work together during this past year brought progress on many fronts. I am humbly grateful to serve in our community and with the start of the 2021-22 school year, we have new opportunities and challenges to improve the lives and futures of our students.
This new school year will bring new and exciting endeavors as we continue to expand and improve our academic and special programs. Programs such as our Accelerated and Honors courses, Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID), Mathematics Engineer Science Achievement (MESA), Robotics, Video Production, Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA), ASB, and eSports.
This year we will continue to encourage and promote parent participation through our School Site Council (SSC), Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA), English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC), African American Parent Advisory Committee (AAPAC) and Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE).
As we are constantly striving to improve, please let us know if there is any way we can enhance our educational programs to make your student’s experience better. We look forward to a safe and successful school year.
