Greetings parents, students, and community members. My name is Jennifer Cuevas and I am the proud and enthusiastic Principal at Kucera Middle School in the Rialto Unified School District. It is with tremendous excitement and enthusiasm that I welcome you all to the 2025-2026 school year. This school year marks my ninth year as an administrator in Rialto and my 20th year overall as an educator. I began my career as a middle school math teacher in 2006 and I have served this community as Assistant Principal at Carter High School and Eisenhower High School. I am committed to supporting Kucera as we strive to be a middle school of exceptional distinction.

Wednesday 8/20: Anything but a Backpack Day

Thursday 8/21: Team Up - Wear a sports jersey/shirt

Friday 8/22: Adam Sandler Day (wear oversized t-shirt, baggy shorts, and sneakers)

Drop Off and Pick-Up Procedures

Hello Kucera families,

Please know that students are not to be dropped off or picked up in the front parking lot.

This is a parking lot and not a drop-off location.

The “cutout” is the drop-off lanes between the two parking lots on campus.

That is where students enter in the morning.
For after-school pickup and parking for parents is only on the street.

The front parking lot is a non-pick-up area.

The “cutout “ on the side and parking lot for the MPR are for buses only.

Happy First Day of School

I am looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow for the first day of school. A couple of quick reminders for the first day:

Dress code will be strictly enforced! Students must cover all private body parts covered (including midriffs) and undergarments are not to be visible. Students are allowed to wear hats. Clothing cannot display violence, nudity, profanity, or depict drug and alcohol usage.
Per the Rialto USD school board policy students cannot have electronic devices out during school time. Cell phones need to be put away in backpacks and not visible. If students are not compliant with this rule their phone will be confiscated and returned only to a parent at the end of the school day.
Updated student schedules are viewable in StudentVue and ParentVue. Students will receive an updated printed copy of their schedule during their 1st period class.
Back to School Night is Wednesday August 13th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
Students can be dropped off starting at 7:30 AM each day. They will enter through the drop off area between the main office and the MPR. known as the "cut-out". This is the ONLY drop-off location in the morning. Students are NOT to enter through the main office. Only students who ride the bus will enter campus through the blue gates by the MPR parking lot.
Please be patient and kind to other drivers in the morning and ensure student safety during the morning drop-off.
Breakfast is provided to all students through their 1st period class.

This is going to be a phenomenal school year!

Think Together After School Program 2025
