      Tina Lingenfelter,

      Principal

      Dear Kolb Middle School Community,

      My name is Tina Lingenfelter and I am excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Kolb Middle School. I am honored to have been chosen to lead such an amazing school and school community. I have heard many wonderful and positive things about the students, teachers, staff, and parent community. This past Wednesday, February 1st was my first official day at Kolb. I had the opportunity to visit and meet with many of the students on my first day and I received a warm welcome from all.

      I come to Kolb with over seventeen years of experience as an educator. I am the former principal at Fitzgerald Elementary School where I served the school community for nearly four years. Prior to being the principal at Fitzgerald Elementary, I served as Assistant Principal and Interim Principal for both Hughbanks Elementary School and Dunn Elementary School. I also served as a Program Facilitator and classroom teacher in San Bernardino City Unified School District, both for elementary and secondary schools.

      I wholeheartedly believe that great schools and happy students are the results of caring teachers, staff, and supportive families. My primary goal is to provide our entire school community with the support needed to help our students grow, prosper, and be inspired.

      I am thrilled to meet each member of our school community and I look forward to all the upcoming activities our students will be participating in this second half of the year. Please know that I am here to support you and your students. I will soon be hosting a Coffee with the Principal to be able to meet with our school community.       Free Student Academic Enrichment

      Rialto Unified School District is offering FREE Academic Enrichment for students in grades TK through 8th grade during non-instructional days (see available dates below). In partnership with Think Together, students will receive academic enrichment focusing on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics). The program hours will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. For more information and to register, CLICK HERE. El Distrito Escolar Unificado de Rialto va ofrecer Enriquecimiento Académico GRATUITO para estudiantes en los grados TK a 8vo grado durante los días sin instrucción (vea las fechas disponibles abajo).
