Club Info

  • Knight Runners will begin training in January, 2021

     
    • 3rd quarter goal: increase run distance 1 mile/fortnight, train to finish the 6.2 mile "Run through Redlands" 10K, first Sunday in March.
    • 4th quarter goal: continue increasing run distance 1 mile/fortnight, train to finish the 13.1 mile "Fontana Days" half-marathon, first Saturday in June.
     
    Projected costs for each student:
    • January, $100 (sports physical valid through June, new running shoes)
    • February: $50 (pre-registration for the early March 10K)
    • May: $80 (pre-registration for the early June half-marathon)
     
    If finishing a 10K or a half-marathon is one of your personal goals and you are serious about training for it, contact Mr. Bacon at tbacon@rialtousd.org as soon as you read this message (anytime between September and January)
