Mrs. Kara O'Brien

It has been an honor to be an art teacher here at Carter High since 2015. Art allows students to view the world through a colorful lens. Students learn observational skills, techniques, art history and creativity in various art mediums. As a freelance artist, I am always looking for new techniques that can help a student grow.

Mrs. Kimberly Ramos

I've been an art teacher at Carter High for over 15 years. My Arts degree is in Photography and I was very excited about starting the Photography program at Carter a few years ago. I'm also a Girl Scout leader, soccer mom, and I teach a course at CSUSB for aspiring art teachers in the credential program. In my spare time I read, cook, make dog treats for my fur babies, and work on my succulent gardens. I also dabble in the game show circuit. And I love watching football with my hubby. Life is full, and I feel incredibly grateful and blessed.

Shout out to the Art peeps! Best department ever!!
